Product Description
All-mountain, high-end board perfect for freeriding. All new environmentally conscious Green stick wood-core construction produced with top quality wood from sustainable forests awarded by the FSC. An ultra lightweight package that floats in backcountry powder and makes smooth, precise turns. Plus it has the fastest sintered base in our Drake line to constantly push your speed and performance
• DIRECTIONAL:
The tip of a directional snowboard is different from its tail. The tail is usually narrower, shorter, and flatter that the tip of the board. Stance is offset toward the tail of the board. These boards are primarily meant to be ridden in one direction.
• GREENSTICK:
Featured on the Battle model. It’s a special core made with wood from forests protected by the highest environmental standards. This is the only wood that received an award by the FSC and can only be found in our Drake Battle base!
• SINTRA 8000:
The finest P-tex material grounded together with nano carbon particles, heated, pressed, and then sliced to offer the fastest base in our collection. Nano additives hold heat, and then discharge. The process breaks the surface tension of snow and reduces friction. The result is an extraordinary running base with the highest level of wax absorption.
• TRANSITIONAL:
This unique sidecut consists of two concentric circle arcs. The first arc initiates and finalizes your carve to make it smooth and easy, while the second arc helps hold an edge between the start and finish of your carve. The result is constant distribution of pressure while riding, resulting in clean, fluid, carves at high speeds.
• BIAX:
Glass fibers are positioned at 90° off-axis to transmit soft torsion stiffness for an easy carving ride.
• SMILEY
Drake own way of intending reverse camber over the board. Smiley concept offers a reverse free camber shape creating
a constant arch from tip to tail which come 6mm raised compare to a regular snowboard. Boards ride smother, minimizing edge catching on take offs and landings, allowing great nose and tail presses and taking sensation to a whole new level.
Bringing back the fun and skateboard feeling to the snowboards! When it’s applied to a freeride oriented model like the battle it give an outstanding gliding and lift in soft and deep snow.
• GUM WALLS
We inject 1mm of shock-absorbent rubber between 2-layers of ABS plates and over the board’s sidewalls. The rubber protects and provides dampening in different riding condition. It also absorbs vibration and enhances durability. Whether hitting rails in the park or carving in icy conditions, the Gumwall construction helps enhance your ride by providing stability and superior edge hold.
